“In wisdom gained over time I have found that every experience is a form of exploration.” -Ansel Adams
My professional work is primarily in commercial and editorial topics in the photography medium, but after seeing 28 countries, my passion is in travel photography. At 14, I climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and met the founder of Sotwa Wilson Primary School (SWP), who inspired me to pursue a career in education. Many years later, I returned, donated a year's worth of supplies, and founded an art department at SWP. My experience teaching there led me to pursue my second master's degree in art education to become a certified educator. In addition to my experience there, working as a professional in the photography industry for the last twelve years has given me an insight into what is required of someone to have a successful and lucrative career in the arts. Today, I hope to share my experience as a professional artist and my love for art to inspire and train future artists.
